As I entered the nursing home, headed down to the east wing, there would be Mary taking a stroll. I would say 'Mary, Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow...' She would finish the nursery rhyme and we would laugh. She was such a sweet lady. We would talk a few minutes, comment on her lasted hair style, fixed or not fixed. Depended on the day. She was the sweetest lady. I bet her life is full of wonderful memories. But I know she loved her family. In her last weeks, I would sit by her bed, We would sip on water and then we would pray. I was told Mary knew the Lord. As we prayed her little lips would move. Sometimes we don't understand how the end of life is so brutal. But I do know eternal life is given by a free gift from Jesus Christ, dying on the cross for all of us. I believe Ms Mary strolls the streets of heaven, visiting around with that beautiful smiling face. I love you Ms Mary, I will miss you sweet lady. Love Kathy and Laura your roomie she knows you're gone.
